Tony Cortese is the Principal of ARIA Leadership Coaching & Consulting – and brings more than 35 years of experience in leadership, human resources, consulting, mentoring, and coaching to his clients.
In the Fall of 2019, Tony retired as the Senior Vice President of People Services from Herman Miller; a global American based manufacturer/retailer of Office, Healthcare, Education, and Home Furniture/Furnishings with a rich design heritage and a strong reputation for their human centered culture, innovative Human Resources/Business practices, and leading-edge Sustainability, and Inclusiveness & Diversity programs.
During his 20+ year tenure at Herman Miller, Tony progressed from a Senior Manager in HR up through the ranks to his final role as Senior Vice President – where he provided strategic leadership for their global Human Resources, Sustainability/Environmental, Safety, Security, Employee Communications, and Inclusiveness & Diversity Teams.
Before joining Herman Miller, Tony spent a decade as the Human Resources Manager for Church & Dwight Co., Inc. (You know them as the “Arm & Hammer” people) at their then largest manufacturing facility in Green River, Wyoming. While in Wyoming, Tony formed Sage Management Resources; a human resources consultancy. Tony started his career with Ralston Purina in their Grocery Products Division in Denver, Colorado.
Tony has a master’s degree in Career & Human Resources Development from the Rochester Institute of Technology in New York, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from State University of New York College at Fredonia. He also holds various certifications from Thunderbird, the University of Michigan, Georgetown University, and MIT.
David Keegin is President and co-founder of Anderson Keegin & Associates, Inc./OI Global Partners. An accomplished career coach, David’s client engagements primarily focus in three areas: Leader Development, Performance Improvement, and Career Alignment. David is a strategically oriented leader with P&L and international business development experience in sales, marketing, service, and operations. An adept communicator, motivator and presenter, David coaches individuals and teams in moving successfully towards their desired outcomes.
His business background combines hands-on leadership and breadth of perspective gained from facilitating numerous career transition courses, developing, and delivering unique career-related and personal development curriculum, and coaching candidates of all levels towards achieving their career aspirations. Working closely with senior leader and key contributors, David effectively aligns individual interests and abilities with organizational resources and intent. The results are dynamic interdependence where both value and meaning are created.
David earned his BA in English and history from Albion College. He holds a Career Management Fellow (CMF) with the Institute of Career Certification International. David is certified to administer the following assessments: CPI 260 ® Leadership and Management Assessment, EQ-i 2.0® Emotional Intelligence, and 16pf® Questionnaire.
Additionally, he has served on the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce CEO committee, Davenport University Advisory Committee, and Macatawa Bay Yacht Club Board of Directors. For OI Global Partners, David has served on the New Partner Advisory Committee, as CFO on the Board of Directors, and as a Member of the Board of Directors.
